Over the week we learnt so much about the Kingdom of Yugoslavia through the last century and how fragile the different states still are.  The wounds are deep and it will clearly take a long time (if ever) for them to heal.  The different counties we visited were all absolutely stunning and would love to go back at some point, maybe for a road trip.

First few nights was in the IVANDO HOTEL – TRIP ADVISOR – LOCATION
This was a 4 star ‘boutique’ hotel.  Our room was perfect with a small balcony overlooking the Adriatic,  although other guests said they did not have such a nice view.  
The HB food was a little lacking but we had a wonderful lunch at a beachfront restaurant and a swim on the first day after we arrived.

We then moved on to the TIRENA SUNNY HOTEL – TRIP ADVISOR – LOCATION
This was a 3 star hotel and the only thing Rooster liked was the pool.  The restaurant was like a school canteen and the room had no balcony.  Come on Newmarket, we spent a lot on this holiday, you need to do better.
