Spain, located in southwestern Europe on the Iberian Peninsula, is known for its rich history, diverse culture, and stunning landscapes.

Bordered by France, Portugal, and the Mediterranean Sea, it boasts vibrant cities like Madrid and Barcelona, charming villages, and sunny beaches. Influenced by Roman, Moorish, and Christian traditions, Spain offers world-famous cuisine, festivals such as La Tomatina and running of the bulls, and iconic art and architecture, including works by Gaudí and Picasso. Its regions, like Catalonia and Andalusia, each have unique identities and languages. Today, Spain is a democratic monarchy, blending tradition with modernity, attracting millions of visitors annually.

Benalmádena, on Spain’s Costa del Sol, is a popular seaside town known for its beaches, marina, and vibrant nightlife. It has three main areas: the traditional Benalmádena Pueblo with whitewashed houses, the lively Arroyo de la Miel, and the coastal strip with sandy beaches and resorts. Attractions include the marina, Selwo Marina, Butterfly Park, and the cable car to Mount Calamorro. Combining culture, entertainment, and Mediterranean charm, Benalmádena is a favourite destination for tourists year-round.

Seville, the capital of Spain’s Andalusia region, is a city rich in history, culture, and charm. Known for its flamenco dancing, vibrant festivals like Feria de Abril, and stunning architecture, it boasts landmarks such as the Gothic Seville Cathedral, the Alcázar palace, and Plaza de España. Winding streets, lively tapas bars, and orange-scented squares create a magical atmosphere. Seville beautifully blends its Moorish, Christian, and Jewish heritage, making it one of Spain’s most captivating and picturesque cities.

Madrid, Spain’s capital and largest city, is a vibrant cultural and political centre known for its energy, art, and history. Famous for world-class museums like the Prado, Reina Sofía, and Thyssen-Bornemisza, it also offers lively plazas, elegant boulevards, and bustling tapas bars. Landmarks include the Royal Palace, Retiro Park, and Puerta del Sol. Madrid combines tradition with modernity, hosting festivals, nightlife, and football passion, making it a dynamic and welcoming destination in the heart of Spain.
