Lion king show highlights

Fantastic day out.  After a busy morning for Cola and Rooster painting the bedsits, a quick shower and change, we heading up on the train to meet with Ambrose and Ads in the Coach and Horses pub, Soho where we sat next to Steve Pemberton “Mike Garvey” from Benidorm.

A lovely ‘tapas’ style Mexican meal in the Wahaca Covent Garden.  Not a bad price, and top marks for taste.

We met up with Ads friend ‘Simon Morgan‘  who had played the French Horn in the Lion King since it started in 1999 (he got us the less than half price Stall tickets).  Then an AMAZING private back stage tour.  Never seen anything like it, an experience we will never forget.

The show was great, but unfortunately is was the evening show, so Rooster had to have a little nap in the second half, then another nap on the tube, then another on the train.

When we got home is was zzzzzzzzzzz
