Nice little stop over
We stopped here as part of our G Adventures tour for one night.
Lunch was pre booked before we arrived and the salad was great. We had the steak for dinner but it was well done and very dry.
The pool was a nice area. The room was a stand alone wooden cabin. We had to walk over a bridge where there was stagnant water so take plenty of mosquito spray etc. Room was basic but clean, did smell a little musty.
I enjoyed the breakfast which was home made yogurt with fruit. The bill for lunch, dinner, breakfast, 2 cocktails and beers was very reasonable by English standards.
WiFi was available at reception only.

Nice hotel but needs a bit of TLC in places
We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour. To date it’s been the best hotel. We were really pleased with our room and the bathroom appeared to have been recently refurbished.
The room was nice and large with a big comfy bed. Room was spotlessly clean.
The choice for breakfast was great, we also had lunch which was nice.
We spent a day around the pool which does need some TLC. The toilets round the pool do too, the doors are odd, they are like saloon doors which don’t lock.
Reception team were really helpful and friendly. All in all a good stay.

Not Great -
Stayed here as part of a G Adventures tour. The location is great for the ferry but that’s probably about it.
The hotel steps up to the reception area are tired. Our room looked out on to a building site. With no nets in the room we had to keep the curtains shut because someone was working in the building site and could look in.
There are rules plastered all over the place. The one that really annoyed me was the rule that said there would be a fine if the hand towel was used as a shower mat. Might have been useful to have provided a shower mat so that we didn’t have to risk breaking our necks on a wet tiled floor!!! The sheets on the bed looked like they had been thrown on so the bare mattress was easily exposed.
Loved the island of Caye Caulker but didn’t love this hotel.

Nice hotel
This was a really nice hotel and was part of a G Adventures tour. The room was nice and spacious, very clean and we had the luxury of having a balcony. The swimming pool was small and I didn’t see anyone use it. The hotel isn’t too far from the centre of town. Was ideal for a two night stop over.
